Please send emails to CNN and ask them to stop their Pro-Israel coverage. They keep justifying these acts of terror and I am sick of it. Israel is loosing the war and they are frustrated. The US and Israel were betting on a civil war in Lebanon but the Lebanese people are smarter and stronger than this... I am Christian and I fully support the Lebanese resistance movement. I am sick, I started crying when I heard Peres say he wouldn't be surprised if Hizballah was holding those people at gunpoint (even though there had just been a reporter on that said a survivor told them they were too poor to leave the area and there was nowhere to go). He also said they probably planned this to happen to coincide with the UN vote on sanctions for Iran.

A solution to end the war in Lebanon
The Lebanese could take their fate into their own hands, and not wait for the US to tell Israel to stop (actually, we know the US has rushed and is rushing more bombs to the Israelis for the continuation of the "war", which is clearly no more than the coldblood onslaugh by the Israelis of Lebanese civilians using US precision laser-guided bombs) Don't WAIT for a cease-fire! My solution to immediately end this continuing massacre is this: All the refugees who had fled must now rise from their shelters and, with their children, march back south, unarmed, and drive the Israelis army out of South Lebanon. If you agree with me, then please suggest this solution by posting on all forum boards which you know. Thank You.

Lebanese population, refugees along with non refugees, as well as all peace lovers rally in Lebanon and march south and retake their land peacefully. And if Israel wants human shields, they will have millions to xhoose from for the target practice. Why hasnt Lebanon decleared war on Israel at this stage? Hezbollah was wrong but nothing justifies this. If it hadn't been Lebanon (or any other Muslim or Arab country) Israel would have figured out how to negotiate with the Hezbollah with the Lebanese government's assistance to bring the soldiers out and let the government of Lebanon bring the perpatrators to justice.This bollocks about not negotiating with terrorists is just bollocks Western countries use proxies or negotiate with terrorists all the time--see Iraq. I'm an expat now but the only reason I keep voting is to hope that my little vote will make a difference here in the US. I went to my congressional reps--Senate and House--and demanded an immediate ceasefire then work to create a sustainable peace (I'm from NY so you have a very hardline Israel lobby here). How the Bush and Blair want to think that letting Israel have there way with Lebanon--too bad they aren't doing as well as they hoped Hezbollah still stands and the Israelis had to pull out of Bint Jbeil because Hez beat them--is beyond me. Watching Blair try and sell this is getting downright embarrassing. If you are a US citizen or a British citizen then start protesting. 60% of people in Britain want a ceasefire according to the ICM poll. And minority as we are in the US we have to say enough is enough. It is only the US and UK who are holding back a ceasefire so speak up now.I hope somebody is putting together a day of global protest where everyone can stand up against this at once and be counted and make a global boycott at least one day where everything just stops and people really think about this. THere is a learning curve. When Hez learns to target their missiles better, and gets more powerful ones, they will be able to inflict the same degree of deaths on the Israelis. That will make it an even playing field. I think, that to hasten the end of this war, the Arab countries should provide them with the better missiles. If they cannot, they can be purchased from the Soviets. But there will have to be many, many more deaths on both sides for this to end. It is better that this occur quickly, n'est pas?
Believe me, the last thing you want are more Americans in the Middle East. We're run by a warmongering administration at the moment, and the only peacekeeping you'd find by their direction would be blood mixed with spent assault rifle casings. If we had different leaders, then sure, I'd be all about sending in one of the most advanced defense forces available today.
If there's going to be a true peacekeeping operation in the middle east by a multi-national force, I'd vote for France, Germany, Canada and really any other country besides Russia, China, Britain or the U.S. In other words, countries that are more interested in truly stopping bloodshed than looking for something to gain the region.
