Introducing Momus - a Wunbox Technology Demo

Momus is a demonstration of some of the technologies behind Wunbox, Momus is NOT Wunbox.

The Team has decided to release Wunbox Tech Demos every month from April 09 till the Wunbox Beta (release date TBD), to keep you all in the loop of the brew as it comes together.

Momus, the first of said Tech Demos, demonstrates the foundations of a Fully Interactive / Immersive 3D Web Application (Flash), driven by a Real-Time 'live' connection to a Distributed Database (MySQL).

Momus is one of the first Web Applications to bridge Web 2.0 with 3.0, paving the way for a full Web 3.0 experience in the Wunbox Beta.

Momus' design is simplistic if not spartan and its functionality is very limited, but the engine - or key components thereof - is not far from the Beta's. Again, Momus is to demonstrate the technologies behind Wunbox, not Wunbox itself.

this will be a relatively 'real-time' update of Wunbox developments.

separately, we've updated the website with Team bios and a small snippet in About saying:

The Wait is Over!

It's been a long and hard 8 months... thank you for being patient.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be introducing you to the project that's been keeping me busy.

It'll be bit by bit, in byte sizes, starting today with the name: Wunbox

And of course, you'll all be asked to participate in taking this project public (beta).

You'll be asked to be users, advisers, consultants, critics, shoutboxes, and megaphones...
don't worry, it'll be worth it.

it's all about the patterns walid. when votes come in 'odd' patterns - there's generally a concern over the legitimacy of the votes :) that's how fraud is detected in real world elections.
