I have to say I am both worried and confused.( In any order lol )
I have seen so much of Lebanon via this blog and noted the superb secular nature of the country and the freedom this gives to all . I have also seen enough of other cultures to know that all too often when extreme powers who seek to take over do so ,they establish their will via religion and always ,this hits women really hard . I truly hope we are not to see a Lebanon where women are to find themselves wearing headscarves and missing out on so much ............................................................... I myself am no fan of USA as all who know me are aware BUT I am a for equal rights for all ie ) male and female. Religion has shown itself to be a real trouble maker in all areas but this one inparticular ,especially today . Good luck -------but take care . An external enemy is one thing and bad enough/ internal is dreadful .... Pax :-) Helena
This is a God damned travesty !! This is so representative of the Hezbollah ... disregard for public institutions and civil authorities !!
I think it's just a group of kids who think what they're doing is cool & funny. In other words, run of the mill vandalism.
