by 1 PM, barricades had been set up to control the flow and movement of the opposition. all available members of the army were on duty. the police provided another layer of security. the front-line security was provided by a group called 'indibat' hired by the opposition. tanks closed off streets  barbed wire sealed exits, entrances, and corridors  barricades limited entry points to one-person-at-a-time corridors [west entrance]  multiple barricades were set up to keep demonstrators outside of the city center  -finkployd- all rights reserved Trackbacks
