would you murder a child, and then bomb her funeral? --see last photo-
mass graves for israeli massacres of lebanese civilians
and then, just as they were laying her to rest, israel sends warplanes to bomb the funeral,
seven bombs to be exact, surrounding the funeral with black smoke and collapsing buildings... is this not a war crime? yesterday, israel murdered 20 civilians in sidon (saida),
and then 6 more at the funeral procession of the first 20

Lebanon goverment should present a demand to the International Criminal Court to prosecute prime minister of Israel for crimes against humanity. Soon or later this crimes will be investigated and the resposables in the chain of command will be punish and imprisioned. Lebanese must use international law to punish this murderers acts and obtain legal compensations for the families and for the country.
my heart weeps. and did any of you read the evil that americans responded to this Israeli attack on a funeral to bury the dead? The 360 blog for anderson cooper spoke of this evil attack and many posts blamed the lebanese because they still wont leave and said the children deserved it because they were probably hezbollah.
It is the deepest kind of evil that exists in Israel and America. Absolute evil.
its not a war crime? What would constitute a war crime to you Israelis? The only thing you recognize is jewish pain and that is what has cost you your' humanity.
Plus, I'm pretty sure you work for Mossad because your' english is too broken to be a native speaker.
You should be ashamed of yourself for what you've written and the darkness that obviously resides in you heart.
actually I'd like to introduce you to reality: Lebanon never attacked Israel. Israel attacked Lebanon. You need to get your' BASIC facts right before you open your' mouth and desecrate the dead. And Israel is not more powerful they just have ALL the guns and missiles and bombs and tanks and warplanes and warships.
With all that killing arsenal Israel is still getting their asses kicked. Hezbollah killed 15 zionist soldiers today.
It's not a war crime? Okay, do you see any armed person
on thes pic? Do you really see danger in these pics?
I can recognize peacful civilians in mourning.
Okay we need to realize this war. it seems a lot of people in the U.S. and in certain other countries are on the side of Israel. It is unbelievable to think that people can still support israel through all of this. I feel bad that Lebanese have died and i feel bad that israelis have died. but to say that this isn't a war crime is outrageous. My own feeling is that president Bush and Tony Blair do not see Arabs as people but rather as animals. That is the only rational explanation to why they would sit back and let this happen. However, at the same time Hezbollah should not have been armed in southern lebanon. They are a political party and do not need to have arms because all that arming hezbellah did was allow them to control lebanon and put their own political beliefs on the country. Hezbellah should have acted like a rational political party and allowed its representives to be voted into parliment not through fear but through a real election. And i agree with the idea that hezbellah needs to be disarmed because the only people in Lebanon that should be armed is the military. However, with all of this aside it is disgusting what israel is doing to Lebanon. Their attacks are not against Hezbellah but against Lebanese CIVILIANS. if a person researches the attacks by israel he or she would realize that the places israel have been targetting do not add up in the war against Hezbellah. Also, it is a war crime to suffocate a country like Israel has done. They have blockaded the country so no aid can get in or out. I hope that israel is taken down for committing WAR CRIMES against lebanon....the same war crimes that they committed against the people of Palestine for the past 54 years and against lebanon during the Civil War. It is time for the world to realize that Israel is not defending its boarders, it is bullying its neighbors. I wish something could be done. These attacks by israel against lebanon are WAR CRIMES. israel has been using cluster bombs and phosphorous and sulfur bombs that are banned by the international community. Furthermore, to bomb a funeral of a girl that they murdered is disgusting. i dont even think the nazis took it that low. Please pray for the families of the girl and all the innocent people in LEBANON and ISRAEL. However, let us remember that more innocent civilians have been killed in Lebanon. also, the majority of Hezbellah killings have been against Israeli soldiers.
Hey, Anonymous Israeli, just let me remind you something:
Lebanon didn't attacked Israel.
I know, you'll say that the uggly Hizbollah guys did abducted two of your brave fighters.
And for this abduction, Israel desserves these rights:
-Launch an attacks to free the prisoners
-Plan to destroy all of the abducters (Hizbollah)
-Bomb Lebanese civilian houses after having warned them with some flying papers with some modern F16s.
Si, if Israel REALLY desserves ALL of these rights because of the abduction of 2 of tis prisoners then:
As numerous lebanese are kept illegaly in Israeli jails for years after being abducted, Lebanon SHOULD desserve these rights first (well before the 12th of july):
-Launch an attacks to free the prisoners
-Plan to destroy all of the abducters (Tsahal)
-Bomb Israeli civilian houses after having warned them with some TV messages with some old Katiouchas
So, if you want the world to agree with the fundamental Israeli's rights to act that way, then, Lebanon should had desserves the same rights a long time ago.
Don't you agree ?
Not a war crime you say?? Hmm...I think you are wrong. War is horrible, there is no doubting that. However, you can only say so many time..."we were aiming for a hezbollah site...and ooops...we are really sorry, but we missed. One of the CNN reporters even commented on that fact on the weekend. That message is starting to get old. Finally the UN is using strong language with Israel. I am just hoping its not too little too late.
Please....there are many in pain on this site. If all you want to write is propoganda for the attackers...(Israel) then go find a board that likes it. I suppose if you like being argued with, this is fun for you. I will not respond to you anymore, its just too heartbreaking to watch what is happening, and then to deal with people like you. At least use your own name if you are going to be that way.
"Colateral damage" is a zynical military euphemism for killing civilians. Plus it puts up a smoke screen because it includes civilians that are were killed accidentally, civilians that were killed by criminal neglect and civilians that were killed intentional.
People who utilise this kind of vocabulary just show how inhumane they are.
WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK ABOUT AMERICANS SERVING IN THE IDF?
I can't believe how glorified these Jewish Americans are on TV....They are fighting for their religon!! Ugh, isn't that why we are so anti-Arab in this country? Isn't that what is always the complaint about the "terrorists" and their "jihads"???
Check this blog site.......lots of legal information about serving in foreign armies. Blogging is the only way to get any true information these days.
That's terrible that funeral has been bombed by israelis.
I think it is as terrible as latest bombing of shia (or was that sunni) funeral in Iraq, by other iraqis. Not by mistake.
I agree. Every life matters. Every death is a loss to the whole world. And yes, funerals are bombed every day in Iraq, on purpose. But nobody says anything or condemn the groups doing it, which is incomprehensible to me. What is happening in Lebanon is terrible, but even more people die every day in iraq, and what is left of Bahgdad? Yet, the world is silent about the these crimes.
I pray everyday for an end to the violence and killings. Every prayer, every word matters. Each action is started by an intention, an attitude in hearts and minds. So, what has to happen is not stoking hatred and starting a cycle of revenge, but bring relief to grief and mercy to all. Only then can a true peace prevail.
And I thank here Ruth to pointing this out
(Ruth:" Again I put it forth - the arguments are the same. Only the sides change. The enemy is the other guy and the other guy is always 100% wrong.
THAT, however, is not reality. And as the anger and hatred build - as is evidenced in the various writings - those who WANT the hatred win...at the expense of the innocent.)
Hi, finkployd, it's bydsarret... No kiding. Mille bravos for this blog. I'm a french journalist living in Beirut for the past ten years. As all my collegues, I have many sad stories too tell. I just contact you to say that I add your blog address on mine. See you later.
-interresting,in how far (intellectual?) americans are ashamed of this war-can`t remember they would have been since the afghanistan war.Maybe it is media ,which presents these daYS different (can^t imagine),or it is some sort of Lightening (to have a nother "bad boy" in the world)but in the end I`m afraid it is the growing disadvantage (influence, reputation etc.)
which make people to move their opinion of War.-SAd ,but finding Excuses and damaging at the same time is very human-I`m afraid.
I am very proud of you guys down in Beirut trying your best to raise awarness
just to let you know that we here in London , we r trying our best to help you guys in anyway we can ....
big love
big kiss
big heart out to u and lebanon
Well, now you've vomited your hate, let me tell you something:
Hezbollah didn't started the war. The begining is not in the abduction of your two soldiers. Just think about the reasons of this abduction: Hezbollah's asking for the release of the dozens of prisoners you're keeping in your jails. For these Lebanese prisoners captured many years ago, Hezbollah just kidnaped 2 soldiers. JUST kidnaped 2 soldiers... to free dozens. What is your country doing to release them ? Kidnaping two more lebanese ? No, it just started a war...
Israel is complaining for the abduction as the origin of the crisis. But what about all the guys that Israel had kidnaped previously ?
If you want to affirm the right to defend a country when citizen are abducted, then you recognize the right for Lebanon to defend itself.
true, but peace is always made on both sides. Also israel can do some steps forward.Golan-for some outstanding people like me it is hard to understand to fight for this piece of land. The hezbollah
would have one reason less to exist-and it`s not for sure to loose one`s face by giving up land...
The rules of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS when it comes to
the Israeli-Arab conflict:
Rule # 1 : In the Middle East, it is always the Arabs
that attack first, and it's always Israel who defends
itself. This is called 'Retaliation'.
Rule # 2: The Arabs, whether Palestinians or Lebanese,
are not allowed to kill Israelis. This is called
'Terrorism'
Rule # 3: Israel has the right to kill Arab
civilians, this is called 'Self-Defense', or these
days 'Collateral Damage'.
Rule # 4: When Israel kills too many civilians. The
Western world calls for restraint. This is called the
'Reaction of the International Community'.
Rule # 5: Palestinians and Lebanese do not have the
right to capture Israeli military, not even a limited
number, not even 1 or 2. This is called "Kidnapping".
Rule # 6: Israel has the right to capture as many
Palestinians as they want (Palestinians: around 10000
to date, 300 of which are children, Lebanese: 1000s to
date, being held without trial). There is no limit;
there is no need for proof of guilt or trial. This is
called 'War on Terrorism'.
Rule # 7: When you say 'Hezbollah', always be sure to
add 'supported by Syria and Iran'. this is called:
"Axis of Evil"
Rule # 8: When you say 'Israel', never say 'supported
by the USA, the UK and other European countries', for
people (God forbid) might believe this is not an equal
conflict. This is called "Helping our Friends".
Rule # 9: When it comes to Israel, don't mention the
words 'occupied territories', 'UN resolutions',
'Geneva conventions. This could distress the audience
and is called "Anti-Semitism".
Rule # 10: Israelis speak better English than Arabs.
This is why we let them speak out as much as possible,
so that they can explain rules 1 through 9. This is
called 'Neutral Journalism'.
Rule # 11: If you don't agree with these rules or if
you favor the Arab side over the Israeli side, you
must be a very dangerous anti-Semite. You may even
have to make a public apology if you express your
honest opinion like Mel Gibson. this is called "Democracy".
we're not interested in being clever lea. we're interested in stopping the Israeli killing machine. And the truth is, no one has lied or distorted or manipulated the facts on this blog, unlike zionists and their supporters. What exactly are YOU adding to this conversation, other then nothing?
Killing a dozen members of the same family and then bombing them at the funeral, that is as black and white as it gets. Israel is evil and needs to be stopped.
Killing almost 50 women and children sleeping in their beds in Qana, is clearly black and white. It further highlights that Israel is just plain evil and needs to be tried for war crimes.
Invading another country, stealing that countries land and resoureces and wealth and destroying the entire civilian infrastructure and targeting innocent civilians to maximize the damage, this is also black and white. Israel is evil and needs to be disarmed and forced to pay war reparations to the Lebanese & Palestinians.
Oh right, the pathetic little rockets that hezbollah is launching...only problem with this little lie is that no rocket had been fired for over TWO YEARS before israel invaded lebanon. Israel is lying and distorting to justify its imperialist thirst for land, resources and wealth. Israel is the only terrorist in the region.
If you cant stand the FACTS then go visit the world zionist organization or AIPAC, they'll gladly spoonfeed you their lies and corruption and greed and evil.
Here is the history of the Palestinian Territories which is all inclusive, contains original documents, text of all the UN Resolutions, etc, etc. I have noticed since fewer and fewr people are around that lived through all of this, history has been rewritten for, and by, one side or the other. I don't think anyone in the west, unless they studied specifically, has any idea what's correct or not. It's a blurb in our history books.
So here is the link to the UN history repository.
http://www.un.org/Depts/dpa/ngo/history.html
Everyone here should read up and understand, including the people who live in these countries, because you are also misinformed on some points or others. It doesn't make for honest discussions when you can't even agree on the history of the conflict.
I encourage and plead with every American visiting this blog to visit this website:
www.ifamericaknew.org
It is created, run and funded by American politicians, diplomats, entrpreneurs and professors and they have some alarming information about what Israel and they're lobbyists have done to the US.
Did you know that AIPAC is currently drawing up the UN resolution for a ceasefire with Israel and Lebanon? Yup, a pro-Israeli lobby group is drawing the ceasefire agreement on behalf of the US government. That is how entrenched and powerful these groups are in US politics.
Israels makes US foreign policy including giving Israel BILLIONS AND BILLIONS of free money and weapons and support and even fights wars for them. Israeli and their pro-jewish groups in the US were instrumental in getting the US to invade Iraq and instrumental in the push to invade Iran.
I ask all americans to visit the website: www.ifamericansknew.org
Thank you anonymous for this great information,
EVERBODY visiting this blog should bookmark it and visit it...it's simply outstnding!!One of the best i've ever visited!!!
Btw,the correct name is wwww.ifamericansknew.org
No more excuses like "We did not know". The story of the 13 years old palestinian schoolgirl shot 17 times in the head deliberately, is beyond description!!!YOU'LL NEVER BE THE SAME HUMAN BEING AFTER READING THIS ACCOUNT!!

If you are the Israeli government, dependent on good media to win this war, what do you do with all the negative comments on attacks on Lebanon? If you are Bush and Blair, being criticised for support of Israel and the disastrous ceasefire suggestion, what do you do?
I'll tell you.
Today 21 British muslims were arrested. The charge was that they planned to kill 1000s of airline passengers with liquid chemical bombs. The Home Secretary said they've caught all the ringleaders. Proof? Oh no proof, just INTELLIGENCE. Yep that's right, the same as they used when invading a house at Forest Gate and shooting a man. The same as when they shot an innocent Brazilian at Stockwell tube station. The neighbours of some of the 21 say that these are devout, quiet and reasonable people.
Result? The attacks on Lebanon have been knocked off the top news story list.
I ask you, who slaughter who? You write here it's not a big deal.
Let me show you a fact. The jews have a "holocaust-bonus".
And "Israel" still believe they can do what they want because
of this "bonus".
But some people don't learn from the history. For me it seems "Israel"
want live in peace at all.
And a little detail :. You call the rocket "Hezbollah SS rockets"
Thats funny, these rocket was used by the redarmy
against the Nazis...
Unfortunately, I think you are right. Distraction and confusion.
A UK MP is investigating the 'suicide' of David Kelly, because he believes the man was killed by special forces, because his views on lack of WMD in Iraq were inconvenient.
All the news media fall for it. Lebanon is off the screens. Israel can slaughter as she pleases. Bush and Blair slip into the role of protectors of the Western world.
It truely is horrific. As an American, I would like to apologize for our government. There is absolutely no excuse for the United State's refusal to make the Zionist criminals own up to their crimes against Lebanon and the Palestinians.
thanks christopher, please help us spread the truth to the rest of the US. Americans are such good people and your' nation and democracy have been hijacked and taken hostage by zionists.
its happened in canada also..
older news june 3 2006
terror plot foiled in toronto.
12 men arrested. they plastered their faces all over the news. called them terrorists full names blasted everywheres..
then we find out no they had nothing to do with any terror plot. all of them are let free.
but guess what you dont hear it on the news.. not one bit of apologe from the news media no one.. they just say here some terrorist.. and leave it at that..
now thankfully most canadiens arent brained washed (yet) so many didnt believe it in the first place..
maybe thats why they never said they were wrong (media and gov.)
this racism against arabs must stop today.. if not we will have another holocaust
but this time they will succeed (the ones that control israel and u.s and britain and any other country who isnt actively trying to stop this crap and believe me all of us jewish people who believe that israel is right.. we also will be thrown in the burning chambers with the arabs has most of us are not full jewish has they say themselfes
we all know that if you are convert jewish you are not jewish they are pretty damn strict on this.. )
you cant or wont fight with guns then stop buying their products..
and speak out about it... just dont be hatefull in it... this is also what they want.
A song I have found that moves me in these awful times of aggression is "I want to make the world turn around" by Steve Miller. Turn it up loud.
I wish Israeli's would give up their arrogance....where does it come from? They are blinded by it. They are losing sympathy all over the place....wake up you idiots...
This just out: a representative poll in my country, Switzerland shows that 86% of the Swiss dissaprove of the war the Israeli are waging against Lebanon and call it disproportionate. 9% (there's always some idiots) approve of it, 5% have no opinion.
just a note...not a statment of support or anything....he doesn't HAVE to shift the opinion of the world. only the opinions of key political leaders. And everyone, no matter what country they are from, has both a national "angle" and a personal "angle".
Shakespear said it....politics makes strange bedfellows.
Today, in Lebanon and Gaza, the action of the Israeli government the conduit to be caught some in a way indiscriminée with the civil populations. Nothing can justify the destruction of electric factories, food productions, industries, the roads, the bridges, the ports, etc Nothing cannot justify the losses inflicted with the civil populations which are not any more of the collateral effects of actions of war but translate a will deliberated to punish a population collectively. That to also say massacre of Qana.
With the reading of conventions of Geneva and The Hague they are war crimes. I hope that the citizens and the lawyers Lebanese and foreigners will be able mobilizes themselves to translate the Israeli persons in charge for these attacks against the civil ones in front of an international penal court since Israel all United States did not ratify the convention of Rome.
On a purely personal basis and as a lawyer, I advise with Lebanese to gather right now the proof of use of nonconventional weapons, systematically to photograph the victims and the buildings, etc If lasting peace cannot be considered without justice, it is necessary to give oneself the means of this justice. Sincerely with you
wow, we all sound like mini-versions of what we're talking about here in this very thread. we are the threat.. to each other and our selves...all of us.
