They tell you that it's because Hizbollah are hiding behind civilians, or because you allowed them into government, or because they'll retaliate 10 times what they're getting.

He wants to stay in power as long as Thatcher did. He sees this Middle East crusade as his Falklands war and part of his legacy, like Winston Churchill. We write, we shout and scream. He ignores us. It annoys the hell out of all of them, because you are a voice that gives an alternative view beyond the nasty Zionist blog spammers. They know it. They hate it. Ain't that the truth! Just look how the Israelis are misquoting Ahmadinejad. He calls for a regime change (to something more moderate) and they report him as rallying the troops to destroy the whole country. Someone needs to knock their heads together to cut the bullshit.

Nesrallah said we will attack their capital if they attack ours and we will stop firing rockets if they stop.... but CNN's verision is: Nesrallah threatens to attack Tel Aviv. Not a peep about the offer of a cease fire and that he said the attack would be a RE-action not an action. This is so unfair.... :( Israel and the anyone that supports their acts of terror will have their day...

Zahi, CNN did report the Nasrallah offered to stop...i heard it several times, although they do focus more on the bombing aspects...but all news is biased don't u think?
The thing is: there is an enormous difference between CNN US and CNN International.
You can check it out when they plug into coverage from their partner station. It's also evident if you watch stuff on the video archive: Reports on CNN US are very biased in favor of Israel, CNN International is relatively balanced in comparison. The US-Version is so idiotic they can't show it anywhere else in the world other than in the USA. I really am sorry for all US citizens to be submitted to such bull**** media. It's like in 1984. Oh, National Public Radio (also available over internet live stream) is much better!

First let me tell you to reserach the middle east pre 1950s and you will realize that before the zionist movement to Israel most of the Arab countries were prospering. Furthermore, we do take responsibility of our actions. WHen i do badly on a test i blame it on the fact that i didnt study the week before. however, we are not going to take responsibilty for the fact that almost 1000 lebanese CIVILIANS have been killed in 3 weeks of combat. It is not the lebanese fault that this is happening to their country. It is the fault of Hizbellah and Israel. Now my question for you is do the Israelis take any responsibility on themselves. The israelis whine about the fact that Hamas, Hizbellah, the Palestinians, and all other arabs in the middle east hate them. However, if israel learned to take responsibility on themselves they would realize that it is their fault the entire middle east hates israel. If israel didnt committ Hundreds of massacres agains the palestinians and Lebanese maybe the middle east would be peaceful. If 20,000 lebanese civilians werent massacred by israel during the Israeli occupation of lebanon during the 1980s maybe none of this would be going on. If israel didnt steal land from the palestinians over the last 20 years and change their version of the "boarders" every time they feel like it none of this would be happening. So before you start saying that the arabs need to take responsibility for their actions maybe you should start realizing that israel is just as guilty if not more guilty for the instability and lack of peace in the middle east

I don't think American minds will change much. THe longer this goes on, the more people will block it out of their minds. It is not taking up as much air time on the evening news now as it did before. Frankly, the heat wave and Med Gibson have taken up more air time.
