I wish things were different, I wish the three soldiers hadn't been kidnapped, I wish there wasn't a Hizballah messing up with everybody's lives, I wish Lebanon was a truly strong and independent country, free of unwanted outside influences, I wish the body count was 0 on all sides, I wish our government and army were a little bit less trigger-happy. One day, God willing, it will be OK for you to come visit the pubs in Tel Aviv and for me to go and visit that pub in your picture. I hope to be alive to see that day. Like someone said, as a reply in my own blog (and I agree with him 100%): "we're so alike in culture, language, and looks, and we just don't realize that we're all brothers and sisters (Israelis, Lebanese, Palestinians) and that we should get along as friends.
