My prayers and my thoughts with everyone in Lebanon during this difficult time. I am in Canada and here we will do everything we can to help you and support you. We are very critical of the way the government has responded. Stay safe.
The world has achieved brilliance without wisdom, power without conscience. Ours is a world of nuclear giants and ethical infants. We know more about war that we know about peace, more about killing that we know about living. ~Omar Bradley
This is really sad ...losing what we built through the last 10 years in 10 days !!!
But It's not the END .... STAY OPTIMISTIC!
The Lebanese are beautiful, strong people and their spirit and culture will never cease. We are all over the world, bringing beauty to the world with our music, beautiful people, intelligence, history, and aura. Our faith in God, no matter what religion, will bring us peace wherever we may be in this world. The mighty Phoenician is everywhere. Remember, Beruit has been destroyed many times before....but it is a city that will never die because being Lebanese runs through our veins and no one can take that away from us. I love you Lubnan!!! Be strong...we will rebuild and come back better. We always do.
The Lebanese started this conflict by kidnapping two soldiers. So, stop crying for what is happening to you. Return the soldiers... and war will surely stop. Otherwise, get what you deserve.
you can just shut the F**k up and if you dont have something nice to say, just dont say anything at all. i dont think anyone in this whole world deserves what the lebanes people are going through.
Yo Mario (as Bush would say),
I think you need to get your facts straight before you comment on line. The Israeli's have held innocent Lebanese civilians captive for years and all Hisballah wants is an fair exchange. The capturing of the two soldiers was an excuse that Israel needed and was anxiously waiting for to start the bloodshed of the beautiful lebanese people. How dare you say innocent women and children deserve what is happening to them now. How would you feel if it was your family? So think twice before you comment anymore about the situation, because you appear very cold-hearted.
Lisa
Do you mean the innocent Libanese who have been convicted for terrorism ? Do you really mean they should be returned in exchange of those two soldiers ? Know that in war... many innocent people die. Yes... I pity the innocent. But don't forget that Hisballah use the innocent people as a human shield. So, if innocent people die, go blame Hisballah !
