SELDAS
The Objectives of the project were to:
> Categorize and differentiate between the impacts on the environment due to lack of proper legislation and regulations and those due to lack of proper implementation of the existing legislation and regulations, through a thorough diagnosis of the current environmental legislative setting.
> Strengthen the capacities of the institutions dealing with the drafting and enactment of environmental legislation and regulations and enhance the collaboration between those various institutions. seldas.

> Promote environmental law for graduate studies, training and field of practice.
> Disseminate environmental law information and practices to all interested stakeholders.

This topic is of particular relevance to Lebanon as there is little legistlation to protect our environment, and of that which exists, little is implemented in practice.
