No-shave November? Why shave December? Sherif will grow his beards up until December 24. He is doing this to gather gifts and donations to make this Christmas worth while for many children at the Home of Hope, a Lebanese orphanage.
You can help:
1) donate gifts or donations by calling 03/082338.
2) grow your beard and get donations! To participate, call 03/082338.
What's next?
On Christmas Day, Sherif will color their beards white and go to the orphanage to distribute the gifts.
Merry Christmas!

raising the curtains and revealing all my private notes
behind a password I have more than 100 personal notes, thoughts, and ideas.
a while back I asked myself: 'what am I doing keeping all these notes to myself?'
the only answer I could think of is this: 'society hones us to keep our lives private so we can feel secure.' but is it true? what I feel is that the more private my life is, the more afraid I am.
and so I'm raising the curtains and revealing all my past and future 'private' notes with you.
the date is 14 December, 2010.
that's next Tuesday.
you don't have to remember the date, just follow this posterous and you'll automatically get everything by email (or RSS).
please share with everyone you know so they could all benefit, and together make this a more open world.
yours, will

Today Johnny Walker named Bernard Khoury a Giant...
I attended the event, which was awash with blue and gold label walkers, suits and skirts, and of course The Yellow Monkey.
A successfully executed event by any measure, but most notably, and predictably, the star of the show was Bernard Khoury... actually, it wasn't Bernard or his creations, surreal as they may be, but rather his spirit. Rarely do I see men make non-self-congratulatory statements during their moments of fame. He said little about walker and walking, choosing to focus more on the role of architecture in life, in shaping lifestyles, and the quality of life. He warned his audience that the lack of planning, oversight, respect (cultural, environmental, etc), and plain simple common sense is going to be the end of Lebanon as we know it.
So perhaps Bernard Khoury is a Giant, at least I'd like to believe that his spirit is, as we need a Giant spirit to take on the [mindless architects] of this country before we lose ourselves amidst grey boxes.
