first the brain drain... now this.
Nagi Boustany (Vocals/Bass), Jeff Dahdah (Drums) and Elie Richa (Guitar) formed the Walrus Hype in 2006.
Throughout a year and half, the band trained and built up the repertoire in anticipation of concert appearances.
Incidents and various setbacks postponed the anticipated event, until this June 2008 when drummer Jeff got his emigration visa to Canada, bound to permanently leave next September.
A 3 month training course for guitarist Elie due to leave on the morning of Saturday July 12th forced the band’s hand and imposed the night of July 11th as the last possible date for the 3 members to go public.
Hence the concert date fixed, and the unusual double-event will finally take place: The opening and farewell concert of the Walrus Hype who –as destiny would have it- will most probably never play together again...
