- Wednesday - Bikfaya mourning [hometown of Pierre Gemayel]
- Thursday morning - Funeral procession Saifi to Downtown St. George Cathedral (Beirut)
- Thursday afternoon - Funeral mass in St. George Cathedral (Beirut). Mass given by Patriarch Sfeir.
- Thursday evening - Funeral in Bikfaya and final burial.

turnout for Funeral procession was in the tens of thousands

Thursday was declared a national day for mourning.
Everything [EVERYTHING] is closed. There's an eerie silence that's deafening.

Billboards : Pierre Gemayel Assassination

the last couple of weeks have seen a massive billboard advertisement campaign, featuring all the assassinations and attempted-assassinations witnessed in the past couple of years.

Not 24 hours after the assassination of Pierre Gemayel, his photo and that of his targeted car have been added to the campaign...

Army is deployed throughout the country on 'standby'.

Incidents of clashes reported in Achrafieh.
