why dont all pubs unite,close together and stop paying there taxes along with the silent march this saturday..its ok one week shutting down better than all days...

I used to work in this bar in a very busy but residential downtown area in germany. i really wonder why it's not working out here with the residents... we had to shut down the outside tables at 11 p.m. (12 a.m. weekends) and i think that's perfectly justified considering the noise our guests tend to make. but the bar itself didn't close til 2 or 3 a.m. - without any complaints from our neighbors.
so maybe it's just about the party hoppers' behavior outside on the streets - behave guys! and one should really consider turning gemmayze into a pedestrian street and using charles helou as parking lot, that would solve the problem of valet parking taking up the residents' spots. what about setting up a gemmayze commission, consisting of party hoppers, bar owners, and residents? that might be the best way to find a reasonable solution that satisfies everyone's needs, be it sleep or drinks.
