Maybe Minister Joe could swing by downtown and shut down a few camping sites, or collect fees for the campsites or at least get the area designated as the official downtown camping area for tourists with a backpack and tent. Kum-Bay-Ya, but keep it down after 12.....
Why don't the pubs install soundproof glass for them and the neighbors over them, as a compromise?? It would be a one-time-cost, instead of closing for goods or closing unrealistically early.... since when do ministers of finance not understand basic economic concepts that u learn in school??
I think the main problem in Gemmayzeh is the traffic, the car putting music loud. Yesterday, I was doing a babysitting in Gemmayzeh and althoug the house is not situated directly on the main road it is reaaly close and what really disturbed me was the people in the car going to pubs putting their music really loud and shouting, etc...
