breakfast was lunch. i had some wild boar earlier, a snack perhaps.
the weather turned, it rained, then hailed, then cleared up just as we were getting to the brandenburg gate...
checkpoint charlie and the berlin wall were very interesting, especially as it relates to the walls and tunnels today, particularly to our south.
we walked, and walked, but also figured out the mass transit systems. feels good to know where one's at after just 36 hours in an alien city.
it's 11pm in the 'expensive' neighborhood of berlin.
old beautiful homes (paris like) line the streets.
it's -5 degrees out. i'm heading in for some warm jazz, beer and cider.
