The Three Poles

My Fellow Lebanese,
I'm writing this from the 81st degree South in Antarctica, to celebrate with you the 64th Independence Day of Lebanon.
Each and every one of you across Lebanon, from South to North, West to East.
Shortly after my return from Everest, a wise man told me, "Always remember Gibran Khalil Gibran's words: Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."
So I say to you, "We determine our country's fortune: Let us think as a team, and act as one."
And to the youth, you are the future of our nation: Grow beyond your potential!
Dreams can come true with hard work, determination, and perseverance. Don't be afraid to reach out for your goals; it would be a pity to leave even a single song unsung.
Your Country Mate,
Maxime Chaya
